Land your image in National Geographic!
If you’ve dreamed of landing an image in National Geographic or Outside or other national publications, you’re not alone.
Coloradan Dana Romanoff did. In 2008, she attended a Creative Conferences workshop and sat down one-on-one with the photo editor from National Geographic. That meeting led to an assignment and her first published image with the title.
This Mike’s Camera-sponsored, one-day workshop in Boulder on 2/27 allows you to “peek behind the curtain” of magazines to find out what photo editors are looking for, how they work, and why they select one image over another.
Speakers are from National Geographic, Outside, and Alaska magazines. It’s a chance for you to share your own images, get feedback, and/or just absorb the ins and outs of creating great images.
